Straight Stairlifts

Test Valley Mobility supply, install and maintain Stannah Stair Lifts - both straight Stannah stairlifts and curved Stannah stair lifts. Below you can find out all about the Stannah 400 straight stair lift.

Upholstery

The Stannah 400 comes in a choice of attractive colours to match your decor.

Hard wired wall controls, which can be used to call the stairlift to you or send it to someone at the other end of the staircase. Alternatively, wireless wall controls can be fitted.

Directional Controls

Mounted on either arm, the light-touch joystick or optional push buttons, control the stairlift's movements.

Arm-to-footrest link

When you are not using the stairlift, just raise the armrest, and the footrest will simultaneously fold up flat leaving the stairs free for others to use. This feature is unique and particularly important at the top of the stairs where bending down could compromise safety rail.



The Stannah 400 with Aluminium rail, Mallum upholstery and hard wired wall controls.

On/off Switch

Key switch - If required, this can be used to completely immobilise the stairlift.

Retractable Seat Belt

Adjustable seat height

Swivel Seat - Light touch levers on either side of the stairlift operate the swivel seat.

Safety Edges - 5 'safety sensors' means that the stairlift stops immediately if it meets an obstruction.

The stairlift travels along a slim, strong rail fitted to the stairtreads,not to the wall.
