Slings

To complement the Elite range of hoists, we are able to offer in excess of 15 different types of slings to suit most requirements. In addition to our standard range we are able to tailor make slings to meet the needs of an individual client.

Each sling is colour coded for easy identification, has clear washing instruction and carries a unique traceable number. Sling assessments are carried out free of charge after the installation of a hoist.

All materials are fully machine washable and durable.

A comprehensive range of slings is held in stock at all times and easy fitting instructions are sent out with all product shipments.

The Complete Range of Elite Slings

The complete range of Elite Slings are manufactured from polyester material. This comprises of a mesh outer surface, a soft inner surface and a fibre void between the two.

The size of each sling is identified by the colour coded edging as follows:

Red – small
Green – medium
Blue – large
Yellow –extra large

A sling assessment can be carried out with each user to ensure the correct type and size of sling is supplied.

Test Valley Mobility recommend a risk assessment is carried out prior to supplying a sling, particularly in the case of using slings of a different manufacture to the hoist.

A selection of options are available:

Custom made slings for users specific requirements
Head extension
Chest straps
Inner linings
Additional padding
Extensions to leg or shoulder straps

Features and Benefits of Elite Slings:

Extremely lightweight, breathable and soft to touch.
Naturally forms to the body shape of the user, giving reassurance whilst hoisting.
Water is not absorbed into the material enabling it to be used in wet and dry environments.
Each sling carries a label indicating the type of sling, date of manufacture, full washing instructions and safe working load details.
All slings have been manufactured and tested to BSEN10535 standard and CE marked.
