Curved Stairlifts

Test Valley Mobility supply, fit and maintain Stannah Stair Lifts - both straight Stannah Stairlifts and curved Stannah stair lifts. Below you can find out all about the Stannah 260 curved stair lift.

Directional controls

Mounted on either arm, the light-touch joystick, or optional push buttons,control the stairlift's movements.

Wireless wall controls

These controls can be used to call the stairlift to you or send it to someone at the other end of the staircase.

Footrest lever

When you're not using your stair-lift, you can use this convenient lever to fold the footrest away, leaving the stairs free for others to use. This feature is particularly important at the top of the stairs where bending down could compromise safety.

Safety edges

Nine 'safety sensors' mean the stairlift stops immediately if it meets an obstruction.

Upholstery

The Stannah 260 comes in a choice of attractive colours to match your decor.

On/off switch

Key switch

If required, the keyswitch can be used to completely immobilise the stairlift.

Swivel seat

Light-touch levers on either side of the stairlift operate the swivel seat.

Rail

The stairlift travels along a slim, strong rail fitted to the stairtread: not to the wall. The rail can be tailor made to fit on either side of your staircase, whichever is more convenient.

The Stannah 260 at a glance
